Description
Old buildings in Sturbridge Village, along with the Dummerston covered bridge. The Taft covered bridge as it was known in Vermont was de-constructed and in 1952 brought down to OSV and rebuilt. It's now called the Dummerston covered bridge in Old Sturbridge Village. The New England fall foliage in Massachusetts counterpoints the rustic nature of this wooden covered bridge. You can find this covered bridge at Old Sturbridge Village in central Massachusetts.
Sturbridge Village is a year-round museum where the public can come and enjoy the 1730s in a rustic fashion. Re-enactors demonstrate occupations in colonial America that would have been found in every town and village.
