Description
The Fall Colors over Tannery Hill covered bridge. This quiet little spot in Gilford New Hampshire is not where you would imagine. It's also rather unusual in that it was built in 1995 by Tim Anderson. The Tannery Hill covered bridge is a walking bridge over the Gunstock River. If you find the Gilford Fire Rescue, you have found the covered bridge. It's a short walk behind the fire company and the "road" leading through it is Tannery Hill Road and if you walk through and along it will bring you out to Potter Hill Rd. This Lattuse through truss covered bridge should last a great number of years due to never having cars or heavy machinery traversing it. It can be a little difficult to find but worth getting out of the car to do so.
