Vermont Sugar House in Spring. The maple sap is boiling and it takes 50 gallones of sap to make just 1 gallon of maple syrup. It's hard work in early spring but not much else needs to be done on the farm at this time so they can bring in extra income from sugaring till it's time to work the fields again.
