Description
Coming down Mount Washington is always an experience. Whether you are hiking (not me because I would fall down), or taking the road in your car which circles back and forth so the incline down isn't too bad but you still have pullovers to cool of your brake pads. And then you have coming down on the Cog rail which is more or less a straight shot down the mountain. This means that the decline down is slightly above 30 degrees and in this image you can see what the view is like if you are level with the train.
The horizon is enough to make some folks sick on the way down because your brain sees one way and your body feels the other. It was a blast both coming up and down this tallest of mountains in New England. I would love to do this every fall and in every weather condition.
