Description
A little garden shack partially hidden by the garden morning glory and evergreen trees. Everything seems to sprout up near this shed, knowing that the love of green growing things is strong here. My Aunt was the one you would talk about having a green thumb. In fact I would say she had green hands and maybe nearly up to her elbows. Sh won ribbons every year and long after she had passed away I went out to the shed one day and I was surprised to see every ribbon she had ever won (hundreds of them) neatly thumbtacked to the walls and even the ceiling. Ribbons of red, blue, yellow and pink where ever the eye looked. a pair of garden gloves hung on the side of a pail like she had just gone into the house a few minutes before to bake something for us kids and would soon come strolling back out to tidy up a bit of creeping vine or tie back some prize winning rose blossoms. But I realize the woman who weided these gloves won't be here to tend the garden anymore but her love of growing things still touches the flowers that remain and the little garden shed.
