Standin' on the corner in Winslow Arizona and made famous by the Eagle's 1977 song, "Take it Easy". In this image is a wonderful mural by artist John Pugh. (@artofjohnpugh) The windows seen on the side of the building are actually panels screwed to the walls and painted to look like windows with a reflection of the red truck that sits out at the curb.
The statue in this image is by Ron Adamson who did this in bronze to go along with the Eagle's 70s song, Taken it easy.
Get off Route 40 and come into Winslow to see the corner. The town has memorialized the song and lyrics that made them famous and brings people into town every day. Please get off the highway and visit these small businesses.
