Artist's Description
Route 66 is America's Main Street. It was made famous in 1946 by the King Cole Trio led by Nat King Cole. Route 66 stretched from Chicago Illinois to Los Angeles California. It was the first road to tie two thirds of the country together and let people ride one road out to the National Parks in the American Southwest. The Eagle's sang the song "Take it easy" in 1977 where he was standin' on the corner in Winslow Arizona which keeps people traveling down Route 66 to find that corner. Route 66 has been broken up and is hard to find at times but if you look hard you can find it.
