Artist's Description

The quiet solitude of the fall foliage reflected in the surface of the pond gives a sense of seclusion. Where the viewer almost seems to be on the side of the pond by themselves. The beaver pond or Kinsman Notch is just north of Woodstock New Hampshire and on the 2nd of October it was at full peak for the fall foliage that New England is known for. When you drive up into the western most notch of the White Mountains on a still morning you can get great reflections of the surrounding hillsides.

The autumn foliage near Woodstock New Hampshire starts turning about the last of September and can be peak between the 29th of Sept to 5 October. If you hit this area at dawn or sunset you will most likely find a great New England fall foliage scenic image either way. You can arrive and park in the small parking lot that can fit 8-15 cars. Whether you have a quiet foggy morning or a bright sunny dawn this is usually a crowd pleaser.
