Old Sturbridge Village covered bridge by Jeff Folger. Thi New England Photography of a covered bridge in autumn which isn't really a covered bridge. This covered bridge was in 1955 formed from the entrance to Old Sturbridge Village. It was a paved road that crossed the river. The Superintendent, Goerge H. Watson, decided to convert the road into a covered bridge. He gather old barn timbers and lumber that actually dates back as old as most covered bridges of this era. And turned the road into a convicing replica of a covered bridge. You can see it from different points of view but I thought the best is by taking the boat ride from inside Old Sturbrige Village. There is a cost to both get in OSV and then on the boat ride. But if you've never been to Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts then it is worth taking a good portion of your day to explore.
