Full moon over Maine Lighthouse by Jeff Folger. A "Supermoon over Whaleback lighthouse draws many photographers such as myself. There is somethig almost mystical in a phtoographers need to capture the full moon over any lighthouse. Whaleback as seen here is a Maine lighthouse but I shot it from New Hampshires Fort Stark. At the entrance to Portsmouth harbor on the Maine side of the Piscataqua River lies Whaleback lighthouse. I photographed this from Jaffery point on the jetty that extends into the harbor.
