Autumn usually means the leaves change color but it also means Farm to Table Harvest Bounty. The time when farmers clear their fields and they open their farm stands to the public. This is my favorite time of the year because you can be driving down a Vermont, Massachusetts or Connecticut back road and at the end of the Farmers driveway a makeshift farm stand (table and unbrella) or a full fledged farm stand with employees and a cash register can be found. There I can get a pumpkin or some sweet corn for that nights dinner.
