Salem Willows with full moon by Jeff Folger. The full moon appeared as a faint pink circle just showing above a cloud bank and then as it climbed to the right I moved my position so the full moon was still low as it cleared the trees above the Salem Willows. The Willows is an amuzement park with rides for young kids and arcades as well as miniture golf. There also are many food vendors as well as an iconic clam shack. On a summer evening you can taste an assortment of delicacies from salt water taffey to funnel cakes and pizza by the slice to fried calms. You will also find on Thursday night different bands on the half-shell bandstand to enjoy the evening breeze to. The willows is open year round but the stores and eateries don't open till April and close at the end of October.
