Artist's Description
A Maine lobster trap Christmas tree at Nubble lighthouse. Each year the lighthouse is strung with lights for the Christmas season. This is the only lighthouse on Cape Neddick. The "Nubble" as its affectionately called stands of the mainland on a small rocky and rustic promontory island. Just before you get there you will find a restaurant that after it closes for the winter sets up a lobster trap Christmas tree which if you are skillful, you can line up with the lighthouse in the background. All one shot and no photoshop here. I stood back with a small telephoto lens to compress the distance between the lobster trapp tree and the lighthouse.
