This is a fun shot to get. If you like you can go on the campus as you enter Henniker NH. It's really very easy to find. But this view which I'm afraid I have made popular is by stopping before you cross over the river and going down behind the coffee shop and parking. Then you scramble "carefully" down the boulders till you can see under the stone road bridge. And there is your shot.
The Henniker covered bridge resides on the New England College campus. It is a recent build (1972) by Milton Graton and his son Arnold. They used traditional methods and its limited to foot traffic and maintainance vehicles. It crosses the Contoocook river.
