walking down the Salem Common path by Jeff Folger. An afternoon walk on Salem Common in early November is so much quieter than just a few days earlier when Halloween was in full swing and those of us who live in Salem consider it to be a bit noisy. Halloween is Salem's Madi Gras and this year like most of them was very festive but now on the weekday afternoon. There is a few cars and some young children on the playgound. But overall it's very restful.
