View of the White Mountains by Jeff Folger. I would love to win the lottery and be able to sit still long enough to watch the fall colors develop each day from that porch. This porch looks out on Mount Chocorua and the very westernmost peak in the range. This is all a part of the White Mountains. Days like today are great for the interest between the play of the clouds and the dappled light on the hills below. The sun broke through holes in the clouds to spotlight the landscape. It created patterns on the mountain range giving texture to the hills covered in the colors of autumn in New England.
