Artist's Description
The Mosely covered bridge also known as the Stony Brook covered bridge allows traffic on Stony Brook Road to cross the Stony brook river. The Stoney brook covered bridge is off route 12A in Northfield Vermont. This is one of five covered bridges in the town of Northfield. If you travel back to 12A, it will join with Route 12 and you continue north to the other four covered bridges. The Mosely covered bridge has been strengthened with steel beams running under the bridge for support. It sits on two cement walls which are a little less artistic but much more stable when storms bring high waters down the stony brook.
