Artist's Description

The Cox Brook covered Bridge is also known as the Upper Falls Covered Bridge. It sits at the top of the Cox Brook and just a short down stream sit the Lower Falls and Station Covered Bridges. These covered Bridges make up three of the Northfield Five covered bridges. All 5 of the Northfield Fiver Covered Bridges are painted red which means the Upper Falls Covered Bridge looks good in all six seasons in Vermont. Mud and Stick season are hard to make anything liven up the landscape but a red covered bridge is a start.
