Sundown at Winter Island Lighthouse. The sun has set and the light is leaving the sky but you can still see a bit of the pink in the sky over Salem sound. Winter Island is at the mouth of Salem Harbor. The Island has been home to the Coast Guard, The Army in WWII and to the Militia in the Civil and Revolutionary Wars. Today the island is home to Salem's recreation. People come to Salem Massachusetts for many reasons, like the Witch Trial history and Salem's Maritime history along with all the other history that went on here. (Longest running candy store)
