Red Cardinal in Spring as the first trees begin to bud out. I think the brightly dressed male cardinal is one of my favorite birds to have in my yard. It's always a treat to have their bright red plumage show up. What I love in this picture is that I caught the sun glinting in this male cardinals eye. For anyone who loves the bright red cardinals will love this on some home decor throw pillows or greeting cards.
