Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The flowers turn their faces to the sun and where the sun is blocked the look for a space between the fence boards like children in a candy shop looking through the glass at all the wonderful confections. Here in the garden the bend and stretch to meet the gaze of the morning sun.
