The first rustic fishermans shack was put up on this spot around 1884 and since then they have repaired or replaced it with a new building as needed. In 1974 a big storm did major damage so it was rebuilt once again and this is how it looked in 2003. My first view of the iconic building was with my father who was taking me to different locations around the north shore of Massachusetts.
