Dead Low Tide at Salem Willows. Beverly Massachusetts on the other side of the harbor is fading into the approaching darkness. The sky glows shades or pink and red fading to purple as night descends over Salem and Beverly massachusetts. Dead low tide mean just like it sounds that this is as low at the level of the ocean will get during this cycle of the tides. My wife Lisa walks out on a snad bar discovering little treasures that are for most of the day under 10-15 feet of ocean.
