This Lobsterman's Dinghy in Rockport MA may be all that he has and that is his only trap in the bottom of the boat or it's waiting at his mooring for him to get back from running his lobster trap lines. Sitting in the late afternoon reflection of Motif #1 which is one of the most painted/photographed seascape buildings in New England, it quietly waits. I loved the algae growing on the side of the dinghy. The green of the seaweed in sharp contrast to the faded red of the old dinghy. Every day the lobsterman goes out to an uncertain future. The demand for his source of income is never ending but the supply is not infinite. It's a problem that we have to come up with a solution for.
