I was Making My Way, North to Stowe Vermont during the fall foliage season and had this image in my head to make. I wanted to catch the late afternoon Sun on the small Congregational church in Stowe with the background of the Hill aflame in peak fall foliage. I got there at 6 PM and only had time to put my camera on the tripod and snap to or three pictures before the Sun was no longer on the church. It was a race against time and this day I won. In the morning this churches back lighted sound the best time to photograph it is either on a bright cloudy day or on a sunny day in the late afternoon.
