The geese swimming on the Quabbin reservoir caught my attention but the reflection of the afternoon fall colors arrested my forward progress and had me turn around to get a shot through the trees. The fall foliage reflects on the waters of the Quabbin reservoir. The lonely solitude of the fall foliage reflected in the surface of the pond gives a sense of serene seclusion.
