Fall comes to the Salem Witch house. Taken so years back so this is just a memory when one of the two sugar maples were out front of the Salem Witch House. This line art drawing has had some of the color brought back by digital means. This is where my photography meets my inner artist. The Witch House of Salem is the last standing building with direct ties to the Witch Trials of 1692 when 19 women and men were killed for witchcraft. It was a tense time with the wilderness so close to Salem Village and people lashed out at one another. My ancestor was a Quaker living in Salem and she was a witch accuser. "Mrs. Pope/Folger" accused Martha Corey, as well as Rebecca Nurse and John Proctor, of inflicting pain upon her body through witchcraft. You can't pick your ancestors...
