Description
The Cilleyville covered bridge used to be called the bog bridge. In Andover there were two covered bridges, both the Bog bridge and the Cilleyville covered bridge. When the CilleyVille covered bridge which spanned the Blackwater river, collapsed the Bog bridge was renamed the Cilleyville Bog covered Bridge. The Bridge was bypassed in 1959 and is only open to foot traffic. Someone has hung a large American flag on the bridge which reflects in the water below. At the junction of N.H. Route 11 and NH Route 4A in Andover spanning Pleasant Brook. The bridge was the last covered, and probably the shortest built in Andover
