Maine fall foliage climbs the walls of Coos Canyon to surround the Swift River with autumns colors of red orange and gold. Coos Canyon is halfway between Rumford ME and Rangeley lake on Route 17. It's worth noting that there is a campground near by so if you like roughing it you can use this as a base of operations at the nearby camping grounds to scout out New England fall colors.
