We go out on warm afternoons to go apple picking and then turn the apples into apple cider donuts. If we're luck Halloween will have a scarecrow or two just down the country lane that as kids we can scare ourselves silly telling ghost stories about and wondering if the crow on the scarecrow's shoulder is there to get us!
