Looking across the pasture at the Freeman farm at Old Sturbridge Village. The autumn fall colors over the red painted wooden home. Red was a common color of buildings in the 18th & 19th century because it was cheap and easy to make. Fall foliage scenes in Old Sturbridge Village. Old period buildings from the 1800s where actors show you what life in the olden days was like.
These buildings were brought in from around New England to create the village.
