Artist's Description

The Moseley covered bridge (One of the Northfield five) allows traffic on Stony Brook road to cross the Stony brook river. The Stony brook covered bridge is off route 12A in Northfield Vermont. This is one of five covered bridges in the town of Northfield. If you travel back to 12A, it will join with Route 12 and you continue north to the other four covered bridges. The Moseley covered bridge has been strengthened with steel beams running under the bridge for support. It sits on two cement walls which are a little less artistic but much more stable when storms bring high waters down the stony brook. Stoney Brook Covered Bridge is in Northfield Vermont and I call it one of the Northfield 5. I talked to the local Historical society and there is a sixth covered bridge but its private so I don't have any images of that one... Yet!
