Description
The Bog Bridge, also known as the Cilleyville Bridge, is a historic covered bridge in Andover, New Hampshire. The truss bridge was built in 1887 by local carpenter Prentice C. Atwood. The front view is nice but since someone put a large American flag on the side of the bridge, I think the best view is from the brookside. Walk through and stay to the right. Jeans and good footwear are required. Brambles and possibly ticks could be in the brush (although I never got any there). Then carefully scramble down to the rocky bank. I wanted my wide angle lens and only had a 24-105 so I made do by getting back further. But as you notice can get a nice reflection of the bridge and flag in the brook. This is at 9AM so you can get color and the bridge in the morning.
